Welcome to Vêtu ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience using our wardrobe management application. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

We collect the following categories of personal information to provide and improve our services:

• Generate personalized outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe and preferences
• Track clothing usage to optimize rotation and prevent over-wearing
• Provide style insights and wardrobe analytics
• Improve our AI recommendation algorithms
• Send service-related notifications (if enabled)

We use Google Gemini AI to analyze clothing images you upload. This analysis helps identify garment type, color, brand, and style tags. Images are processed securely and are not used to train external AI models. All image analysis is performed to enhance your personal experience within the app.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database platform with enterprise-grade security. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure you can only access your own data. Images are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers who assist in operating our platform (hosting, AI processing)
• Legal authorities when required by law
• Other users only if you enable public profile features

You have the right to:

• Access - Request a copy of your personal data
• Delete - Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export - Download your data in a portable format
• Modify - Update or correct your personal information
• Opt-out - Disable optional data collection features

You can exercise these rights in the Settings page under "Data & Privacy."

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data including uploaded images is permanently removed within 30 days. Some anonymized usage statistics may be retained for service improvement.

Vêtu is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
